Noah, the CPAP, and a Tank Full of Water
Yesterday, Noah finally received his CPAP machine. The technician came to our house, showed me how to use it, and Noah even agreed to try the mask with the air blowing. He was not quite sure what to expect, but he gave it a try.
The technician reassured me that the doctor had set everything up and Noah could not change the settings by touching the screen. Neither could I, for that matter.
Meanwhile, I was looking at a machine full of water, buttons Noah can push, tubing he can put in his mouth, and a water tank he might decide belongs on the floor. I know this child. If he can, he will.
Now I just need to figure out how to keep Noah and the machine safe while helping him sleep. Hanging it from the ceiling is apparently not an option.
Stay tuned for the adventures of Noah and the CPAP.
